When purchasing from Vermeer & Griggs Asian Art you will be making your purchases with the knowledge that all items are guaranteed to be as represented and have been carefully researched for provenance and are correctly attributed. Vermeer & Griggs offers appraisal services for insurance purposes and sales price evaluations. Our extensive reference library and experience ensure accuracy. All sales within the state of Georgia will be charged sales tax unless a valid resale certificate is submitted at time of purchase. Return Policy Vermeer & Griggs Asian Art makes every reasonable attempt to describe as accurately as possible all items. This description shall include damage, any known restoration and or replacements and guarantees those representations. Purchaser may, within seven (7) days of receipt, the initial inspection and acceptance period, notify Seller of their desire to return the item. A refund will be issued upon return of the item in the same condition to Seller with all identifying stickers intact. After seven (7) days of receipt the sale is considered final and any return will be at the discretion of the Seller. Please note: Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the Purchaser and will not be refunded. Purchaser will pay return packing and shipping charges and be responsible for insurance. Trading in an item previously purchased at an earlier time as partial payment for another is at the discretion of Vermeer & Griggs Asian Art and our refusal to accept an item in trade has no reflection on the quality or value of the item being offered. Price Posting Policy & Inquires We are happy to provide pricing information to all of our clients past, future and potential, on any of the available inventory and to discuss fees for services. We do not post our prices because some sellers of copies would just use them to promote their wares and some people, because their item looks similar to something they have seen on our website, would erroneously evaluate their piece to be the same. We are also not trying to be employed as a price guide for valuation of Chinese Art. Market values are reflective of demand and availability and prices we sell for (and have to pay) vary depending upon those factors.
